Wesley College is dedicated to making world-class education accessible. We offer a range of distinct scholarship types to help students from all backgrounds achieve their full potential:

Combined Academic and Music Scholarship: Awarded to a student who excels in both academic testing and their music audition. Ìý

Academic Scholarships: These scholarships recognise and reward students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance.

Council Entrance Scholarships: Introduced in 1954 and awarded each year to the top three academic students.

General Excellence Scholarships: Acknowledgement for students who mirror the College’s core values of Respect, Compassion, Integrity, and Courage.

Music Scholarships: Celebrating artistic talent, these scholarships provide a nurturing environment for musically gifted students to flourish.

Rural Scholarships: Offer the opportunity for students living in regional Western Australia to be part of our supportive and inclusive community.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarships: Financial awards aimed at supporting Indigenous Australians in their pursuit of higher education. To apply for an Indigenous Scholarship,Ìýplease click here.

 

Successful applicants must demonstrate a commitment to their academic studies and a willingness to engage in the full life of the College. Scholarship candidates will be reviewed through a mix of application letters, recent school reports, testing, interviews, and music auditions.

Please note, to be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Howard Bantock Memorial Trust Bursary

This named bursary is given to a student who demonstrates an ’empathy for religious thinking and who is demonstrating qualities of Christian stewardship’. It is a needs-based award and the value varies according to need, and the availability of funds. Where applicable, the rebate is additionally applied to the boarding fee.
