Student wellbeing, pastoral care, and personal growth are inextricably linked. The classroom teacher, coach, manager, teacher on duty; all teachers are responsible for the effective care of a student.
Monitoring of the pastoral care of each student is the direct responsibility of the class teacher from Pre-kindergarten to Year 4, of the Tutor in Years 5 to 8, the Mentor from Years 9 to 12 and of the Boarding Year Coordinators and the Head of Boarding for boarders. These staff should be the first point of contact for any concerns about your student’s general welfare and progress as their role is to support and encourage individuality and development.
Specialist guidance and support are available from the Director of Student Wellbeing and Service Learning, College Psychologists and the Head of Future Directions.
